Becoming a member of this site is strictly optional. There are a couple of advantages to doing so, however.

A member will have write access to the forums.

A member will be able to get on the mailing list, to be notified when new versions of BoB.NET are available.

A member will not have to go through the e-mail confirmation process if downloading a new version of BoB.NET.

A non-member will have to request a download, and receive an e-mail with the download link every time anything is downloaded. This is strictly to show agreement with the license.
