BoB.NET License

This program, known as BoB.NET (an acronym for Business object Builder.NET), is copyright ©2010, by Alan K. Pilon. This program is and will continue to be my intellectual property.

I grant the user of this program the right to use BoB.NET and to study and modify its source code for his or her use free of any charge. If the user is part of an organization, I grant the user and the organization the right to use BoB.NET, to study and modify its source code, and to distribute the original program and code, or any modified program and code, throughout the organization free of any charge, as long as the person or persons receiving the program are made aware of this license and its restrictions. I grant the user and/or the organization the complete ownership of the code produced by BoB.NET, and the complete right to distribute and sell that produced code however they see fit free of any charge or restriction.

I do not grant anyone the right to sell, distribute or re-distribute the program BoB.NET and/or any major portion of the source code comprising BoB.NET, in either its original or modified form, except as indicated in the preceding paragraph. No one may make available for distribution or sale any version of the program BoB.NET, or its source code, under any guise, including ports to different operating systems and/or languages, without my written permission.

I wish to remain the sole point of public distribution for this program. My name is on the program, and I am proud of it. I do not want, and will not stand for, different versions of BoB.NET appearing anywhere else but at my sole point of distribution. That point of distribution will always be available here at www.codeimprovements.com.

If anyone desires changes or additions to BoB.NET, please contact me. If you submit changes and code, and I decide to implement those changes, I reserve the right to modify that source code to bring it into compliance with my coding style and coding conventions. I will give the submitter complete credit for the functionality in both the Credits section of this document, and in the ‘About’ box of the program itself. Any submitted code becomes part of BoB.NET and all restrictions as noted above will apply, except of course that the original submitter retains ownership of the original code submitted.
